There's an issue with spells/songs in EQ, in that if you finish casting a buff or song during the same tick it's supposed to end, you will see it fade and the actual renewal will go to waste. I think you need a bit of luck to keep 5 3-tick duration songs up, should only aim for 4. Keeping 4 songs up...
